We delayed our departure from Kennebunkport so that we could do a little shopping. The drive from there to Bar Harbor was a long one. We did stop in Freeport to visit the LL Bean Store which was pretty amazing. We had lunch at the family restaurant across the street. David and Bill had the red hot dogs--see the photo! We also stopped to photograph the state capitol building in Augusta.

| Bar Harbor Inn |
Our hotel in Bar Harbor was the Bar Harbor Inn which was right on the
water. The dining room had a huge curved set of windows overlooking the
water. We had our expensive dinner that night and Bill and I had
lobster. Still dealing with headache I went to bed early.
