Day 3 - Wednesday October 17--Concord to Kennebunkport

Thoreau's Cabin

The guys took the subway to go and get the rental car.  We then headed out of Boston to Concord where we went to visit Walden.

Then we headed over to "The Orchard House" which is where Louissa May Alcott lived and where she wrote "Little Women"

From Concord we drove to Kennebunkport where we stayed at Tarbot's Lodge. We went to the beach where we were supposed to find sand dollars--but we didn't -)  We arrived at dinner time and found that most of the stores were closed!  Randi and I managed to find one that was open where we were successfully able to spend some money :)
We had dinner at Allison's where I again had a world famous lobster roll!
